Dr. Albert Yoo with Samuel L Stanley, President of Stony Brook Unversity, being presented with the “40 under 40” award.

Dr. Albert Yoo was born in Queens, NY and grew up in Long Island.  He attended  New York University for his undergraduate degree.  He received his doctorate  degree in Stony Brook in 2005, and then completed his surgical training in  Periodontics & Implantology in 2008.  Immediately following, Dr. Yoo joined a  periodontal practice in New Jersey for 3 years, but returned to his hometown in  Queens to open his practice.

Dr. Yoo specializes in all phases of periodontal &  implant dentistry, with special interest in immediate implant placement and  advanced bone grafting procedures.  Dr. Yoo holds numerous teaching positions in  the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, New York Hospital of Queens, &  Newark Beth Israel Hospital.  He is an active member of the Academy of  Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, New  York State Dental Association & Queens County Dental Societies.  He is the  founder and head of a yearly dental missions team to Buff Bay, Jamaica, now  partnering with Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.  Albert’s interests include fitness, running and photography.
